Quicksilver transoms are compatible with MerCruiser, Quicksilver and Mercury Remanufacturing engines. A transom is one of the most important components powering a sterndrive boat because of the many critical systems that it manages.

Includes sender and shift cable. Use with 2 wire trim sender.  Does not include actuator.

In most cases is less expensive to replace instead of repair a transom especially when labor is figured in. This transom is the latest design with improved water flow and exhaust tube instead of exhaust bellows.

Includes:

  •          Inner transom plate
  •          Gimbal housing
  •          Bell housing
  •          Steering pin & lever
  •          U Joint bellows
  •          Exhaust tube
  •          Gimbal bearing
  •          Hoses
  •          Trim cylinders
  •          Shift cable
  •          Mercathode
  •          Current Quicksilver Repower Rererence Manual

Built to repower the most popular sterndrive engines in the world! Most people’s repower focus is on the engine and sterndrive. However, the transom delivers the cooling water, manages the exhaust, serves as the primary engine mount, controls the steering, manages the trim system, delivers MerCathode corrosion protection, and serves as the conduit for speed and trim control. The transom also serves the important function of sealing seawater outside of the boat.

When you consider the importance and value of this critical component, make sure to also consider the condition of your present transom/gimbal assembly. Taking care of a transom during a repower may save from lost time on the water later.
